The Atlanta Broadcast Institute maintains a no open enrollment policy. This means we can not accept all students that would like to attend our school.
Students seeking admission to The Atlanta Broadcast Institute must meet the following program requirements:
- Applicants of The Atlanta Broadcast Institute are required to complete a personal telephone interview with the Admissions Director. Parents and/or spouses are encouraged to be present for this interview. This will give the applicant and their family the opportunity to ask questions relating to The Atlanta Broadcast Institute's curriculum and course objectives. In addition, an applicant will be advised of school equirements to assure student's success upon acceptance of enrollment.
- Once the interview is complete and both parties are satisfied all requirements are understood and/or have been met, an applicant may be invited to the school for further orientation and testing.
- Applicants must have a high school diploma, GED or associate's degree:
The prospective student must be a high school graduate with a high school GPA of no less then 2.0, or hold a General Education Development (GED) Certificate with a score of 225 or higher, or an Associates degree or higher as a prerequisite for admission.
- Applicants must have access to a computer with Internet connectivity.
- Applicants may be asked to supply additional information such as resumes for further review and consideration.
- Applicants are encouraged to enroll as soon as possible. Classes fill up on average two weeks prior to start date and enrollment begins as much as 3 months prior to the start of the class. Openings may become available within the few weeks prior to the start of a class due to students having to start a class at a later date.
