Ahhh... if he could just get a deal writing a syndicated column full-time, he'd have the big three wrapped up! Well, he's well on his way. After a 15 year stint in rock radio, Spartanburg South Carolina native Rob Hamilton broke onto the "small screen" in rock TV... RockHard TV! Rob grew up in Spartanburg, and live there until he was 23 years old.

He then moved to Greenville, SC after accepting a full-time postition at WXWX-WXWZ 103X. After running that station out of business, he took a full-time gig as Music Director and Air Personality at WTPT, 93.3 The Planet and became one of that stations first jocks. After being fired from THAT station...

Rob heard about a gig in a city called Augusta, GA. He had no idea where it was on the map, but took the job... in part so that he could compete directly against the company that fired him (the omnipresent corporate giant Clear Channel), and exact a little, make that ALOT, of revenge.

Rob served as an Independent Media Consultant for non-profits and events and doing "voice work" for his old competition / new friend "92.3 WAEG". After kicking the competition's ass for 7 years, Rob decided to open a new door and grow the rock empire in Augusta. After much discussion with Ike and Scott McDuffy at Fox54, RockHard TV was born.

Rob signed with Cumulus Media Partners in Atlanta, GA and is the new Director of Interactive Media for Everything Alternative 99X and All The Hits Q100 ...two of Atlanta's most important and most influential radio stations (and that goes for the NATION as well for 99X).
