ESPN Radio - Jeff Cadavero (Right) with Co-Host Stump |
I was at the Georgia Dome/Georgia Tech on March 13-16 to cover the SEC Tournament for my radio station..I had a BLAST!!! Thought of (ABI) a lot, realizing I NEVER could have fulfilled this dream without the EXCELLENT training I received while a student at The Atlanta Broadcast Institute..I gained SO much valuable experience while covering the tournament..guess you could say I was in "la la land"!! hee hee!
Of course, you all know about the tornado that struck the dome on Friday night-right in the middle of a game! Luckily, I wasn't in there at the time..I continued to cover the tournament after it moved from the Dome to Alexander Memorial Coliseum for the semi-finals and Championship game.

Richard Clairemont - OnAir Talent - RadioYou Boston
Graduated from the Atlanta Broadcast Institute in the summer of 2005, at age 23. Already an established nightclub DJ, he was eager to take his skills to the airwaves. "At ABI I learned everything I needed, both technically and professionally, to produce a professional entertainment product and further market myself in the industry."
In early 2007 Rich began broadcasting to Boston and beyond on 92.9-2 HD RadioYou with his Saturday night mix show entitled "International Incident". The show can be heard every Saturday night from 8-10 on 92.9-2 HD in Boston or worldwide at RadioYouBoston.Com. "The show is basically a warm-up for everything going in the clubs. People listen to get pumped up before they go out. It's a lot of fun to do the show, especially knowing your intended market is clubgoing females ages 18-35." Clairemont continues, "I don't think I could have chosen a better place to learn this business. Everytime I'm in the studio, literally every time, I'm using the skills I acquired at ABI. Everything from voice techniques to station politics to technical jargon, ABI covers all the bases and makes sure you're ready to play the game." |

Spinning hits and entertaining a crowd is something that is not unfamiliar for Scott Parrish. With a strong desire to work and succeed in the entertainment industry, Scott attempted to learn as much as he could about the business, beginning at an early age.
When Scott graduated from high school, he had already gained valuable experience as a disc jockey and as an emcee for several events. Scott's young experiences only confirmed his calling to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Scott joined the Army right out of High School and later became a DJ for the Soldiers Club while serving on active duty. While active, he also volunteered time with the Youth Center on Base at West Point DJing teen and pre-teen dances.
After leaving the Army, Scott landed a job with Kiss 105.3: Gainesville, Florida's #1 Top 40 radio station. There, Scott was an on-air talent learning the ropes in broadcast media.
In addition to working for Kiss 105.3, Scott became a multipurpose disc jockey for TDC Entertainment. While there, he performed at clubs, karaoke parties, weddings, and announced for college sporting events. Scott not only wanted to have experience, but the education as well. After moving to the Metro Area, Scott enrolled in the Atlanta Broadcast Institute (ABI) to learn more about the industry. Scott graduated from ABI and was voted Most Likely To Succeed by his peers.
From school, Scott was employed by Signature Radio Network, a satellite radio station, where he was the host of Weekend Hits LIVE. This broadcast aired on seventy-six different radio stations across the United States. Present day, Scott has achieved his goal of owning his own independent entertainment business and stays busy with its operation. Spin 'N Hits is a reflection of Scott's desire to make people happy by providing a service that is professional, reliable, and entertaining! |
